Jessica Pintado is a biomedical scientist and scientific communicator whose work centers on infectious diseases, translational research, and equitable public health impact. She holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where her research examined immune responses to the National Institutes of Health’s live-attenuated tetravalent dengue vaccine, TV003, and the challenges of translating vaccine science into safe, effective, and accessible public health interventions. Jessica previously led clinical and survey data analyses at Columbia University for studies of pediatric Long COVID, SARS-CoV-2 immunology, and immune sequelae. She has also worked in life sciences consulting and intellectual property, translating complex clinical, scientific, and technical evidence into clear, actionable materials for varied audiences. Across her work, she is committed to approaching communities and frontline care teams as essential experts and collaborators in the research process.
