Project focus: The Fellow will co-create civic science tools, knowledge, and best practices that can inform and inspire funding partnerships and collaborations involving science philanthropy. 

Nora Linzer earned her Ph.D. in astrophysical sciences at Princeton University. There, she was a member of an international collaboration developing high-resolution simulations of the interstellar medium and studied the transport of high-energy particles and radiation. Before Princeton, she earned a B.S. in physics at the California Institute of Technology and conducted research across a broad range of topics in astrophysics at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Duke University, and the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen. Outside of research, she has participated in and organized several outreach programs aimed at involving elementary school students in science.
